Firearms Stolen near Waterloo

Laurens County Sheriff’s Corporal Jimmy Johnson was dispatched to a Waterloo residence yesterday afternoon and talked with a woman who wanted to report the theft of a firearm. She said she had previously reported a Charter Arms .38 Special and a Taurus .380 were stolen in Greenwood County, but has now determined they was taken in Laurens County. She indicated the firearms were removed from two separate Jeep vehicles in her front yard between last August 30th and September 5th. Greenwood County was removing the stolen firearms from the NCIC, and Laurens County is to add them to the database based on the new report filed yesterday.
