$50,000 Bond on 3 Drug Charges

   A man arrested by Laurens City Police Tuesday was served with three drug charges yesterday. 36-year-old Jasmine Gilmore Wilson of 102 Apex Street, Laurens was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession with Intent to Distribute within Proximity of a Playground and Possession of Powder Cocaine.  Detective Tony Lynch alleges that Mr. Wilson had a quantity of marijuana at his residence Tuesday with intent to distribute, and that this was within a half mile of the playground of an apartment complex on Independence Avenue. He further alleges that Wilson had a quantity of powder cocaine at his residence Tuesday. Jasmine Gilmore Wilson was released from the Johnson Detention Center yesterday on posting surety bonds totaling $50,000 on the three charges.
