A report of a prowler on Clemson Street dispatched Laurens Police Lt Heath Copeland at 9:00 yesterday morning. A woman said a young juvenile was looking into the shed in her yard and she was concerned he was going to break into the shed. Lt. Copeland located a 13-year-old male nearby, walking down the road, and spoke with him. The youth said he was bored and was walking through the bushes and came up on the rear of the residence. He said he is on spring break and is bored. Lt. Copeland explained to the youth about being in people’s yard, and he said he wouldn’t do that anymore.
