Monday around 12:30 pm Officers of the Laurens Police Department responded to a reported burglary on Sullivan Street. The complaintant, who appeared to be intoxicated, stated that sometime over night, someone had come in through an unlocked window and taken from his refrigerator some chicken wings, pork chops and turkey necks. He said he did not know who took them but suspected a neighbor. The officer did not notice any damage to the window or frame that was the suspected entry point. The victim stated he wanted to report the incident so it would be on file. Hungry thieves are always the sneakiest.
