A man arrested by the Sheriff’s Office Tuesday was charged yesterday with two break-ins and thefts on Tuesday. 30-year-old Randall Thomas Heaton of 514 Lake Road, Clinton was charged with 1st Degree Burglary, 2nd Degree Burglary and two counts of Petit Larceny. Deputy C.F. Johnson states that on July 15th Randall Thomas Heaton entered a dwelling at a Lake Road address without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein. Heaton allegedly took a New England 410 Shotgun from that residence.
Deputy C.F. Johnson states that on July 15th Randall Thomas Heaton entered a camper at another address on Lake Road and that he took a chain saw, a VCR and a mallet.
Bond was denied on all four charges yesterday. Randall Thomas Heaton remains in the Johnson Detention Center, pending his day in court.
