Charges were served yesterday on a Laurens man who had been arrested Tuesday night after his girlfriend had reportedly ridden on the hood of his car from Laurens Terrace to Houston Street. The 21-year-old woman was transported to Greenville for treatment after she got off the hood and reportedly opened the driver’s door when the boyfriend allegedly drove forward and struck another car, with the impact throwing the woman over his car and onto the other vehicle, with her eventually falling to the street.
