Laurens County Deputy Jamison Taylor investigated two break-ins to homes on Golden Acres Road near Clinton yesterday afternoon. A call to one location at 3:23 pm found a man who said he had returned home to discover someone had broken into his home through a back door. Firearms valued at $650, $300 cash, plus an x-box 360 and several games wer etaken, along with hunting knives. Total theft was $1,995.
Deputy Taylor was dispatched to another Golden Acres Road residence at 4:04 yesterday afternoon where another man had returned home to find someone had come into his residence. A bedroom was the only room disturbed. Two shotguns, a pistol, a bow plus a bag and a child’s glove were taken, valued at $795.
