New SC Brewery Bill

Governor Nikki Haley yesterday participated in a ceremonial signing of House Bill 3512, the South Carolina Brewery Bill. Among the changes this new law allows South Carolina breweries to serve both food and the alcohol they produce in the same establishment – allowing them to expand their business, create more jobs, and help improve the state’s economy as a whole. Governor Haley said “We’re always trying to find ways to make sure government doesn’t get in the way of business in South Carolina. This bill is another way that we’ve been able to cut restrictions and allow our small businesses to continue driving our growing economy.” Gov. Nikki Haley added “Small businesses make up the vast majority of our economy and when they thrive, they create jobs – more jobs lead to a better quality of life for the people of South Carolina, and that has always been the goal.”
