Thefts of Metals, 4-Wheeler

The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Dollar General in Gray Court at 6:28 last evening on a report of metal items being stolen. The complainant reported arriving at the store at 4:00 pm and being told that employees had heard a noise and thought it was a delivery truck so they didn’t go outside the see what the noise was. Later they went outside and noticed items missing, valued at $7,700.


A Four-Wheeler vehicle was reported missing from the shed where it was stored, in a report to the Sheriff’s Office last evening. Corporal Jimmy Johnson was dispatched to Sandy Springs Road at 4:48 pm and spoke with the owner, who said the last time he remembers seeing the 4-wheeler was about two weeks ago. The vehicle was entered into the NCIC, valued at $4,000.
