Firearm Discharged Into Cross Hill Home

Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Noble was dispatched to Puckett Ferry Road, Cross Hill at 6:52 last evening on a report of a firearm being discharged into a dwelling. A woman said she was clearing her house and noticed a hole in the inside wall of the living room, so she looked outside and found a whole in the siding. She said that she and her husband then walked to the roadway and found two 9mm shell casings in the grass in front of the house. She noted that her husband had found a 9 mm casing in the driveway last Saturday. The couple had been gone for several days and does not know when the damage occurred. The deputy photographed the damage for investigations.
