Man & Woman Change Residence – to JDC

 

The Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked two people from one residence on Bench Warrants from General Sessions Court for Financial Transaction Card cases. 29-year-old Stacey Nicole Thomas of 361 Sumter Street, Laurens was served with two bench warrants that were issued August 7th, citing failure to appear in court that date for Financial Transaction Card Fraud and Financial Transaction Card Forgery. 41-year-old Jason Wayne Turner, also of 361 Sumter Street, Laurens was served with one General Sessions Court Bench Warrant citing failure to appear in court August 7th for Financial Transaction Card Fraud of $500 or less. The bench warrants on both noted a previous address of Cherokee Street. Jason Turner was also served yesterday with a Fraudulent Check charge citing a check issued in July of 2008, showing an address on Metric Road. A $200 PR bond was set on the bad check charge.  Stacey Thomas and Jason Turner were being held in the Johnson Detention Center, pending their next court appearance.
