Slim Wants To Be Your Best Friend

Slim

                     Slim

I call him Slim. I suppose it’s sorta obvious why.

And you’re seeing him after several weeks of regular feedings at Laurens County (SC) Animal Control. Before that he was skinny.

When a dog is abandoned on the side of the road some think they can hunt and survive on their own. Nope…..dogs are pack animals. A dog by himself cannot survive. And if they do find other dogs to run with a pack they become a threat to livestock, other pets even people in the area.

Most of the time they either are rescued in emaciated condition or they die of starvation. That’s what almost happened to Slim here. He’s recovering and he’s a loving dog but he really needs a home.

If you want more information on Slim call Animal Control at (864)984-6812.

And please SHARE. Slim has been there a while. Time is limited.
