A Laurens County Sheriff’s Deputy has been placed on administrative leave, without pay, following a domestic dispute Saturday. The Greenwood Index-Journal reported that Greenwood County deputies went to Sgt. Jeremy McMahan’s residence at 8:30 Saturday night, citing a release from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. McMahan was charged with second-degree domestic violence and taken to the Greenwood County Detention Center.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was to conduct an internal investigation.
