Two Suspects Sought in Man’s Shooting

Laurens City Police are looking for two male suspects, one possibly a juvenile, from a shooting early last Thursday. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Lurey Street at 12:36 Thursday morning on report of a shooting with a gunshot victim. Officer Billy Sellers and Sgt. Doug Jones reportedly arrived to observe people coming out of the house and noted that one man was holding his back. He reportedly said he had been shot. The back of his clothing was covered in blood. He indicated he had been in the bathroom when two male subjects came in, dressed in black and wearing masks. He said they told him “Give me the S***. He said they took $10 from his pocket and shot him in the back. He indicated he was on the bathroom floor until help arrived. After clearing the scene of the shooting, the officers turned the case over to an investigator with Laurens Police.
