Three local law enforcement agencies have charged a Clinton man with three Domestic Assaults over two days this month.

On Friday, the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Willie Alonzo Gary and booked him with an address at 403 West Pitts Street, Clinton. Deputies charged Mr. Gary with 2nd Degree Domestic Violence. The County warrant states that on May 17th Gary struck the victim multiple times about her face, causing a severely bloody nose and possible broken bones.

Another assault on May 17th was alleged by Clinton Public Safety and listed as a 1st Degree Domestic Assault. Their warrant states that Gary assaulted the victim, causing great bodily injuries that consisted of multiple nasal bone fractures, contusions and closed head injuries. The Clinton warrant states he and the victim live together in a romantic relationship. It states this May 17th assault occurred at 107 Bridgeman Park in Clinton, which is the address also listed as his residence.

A Laurens City Police charge of 2nd Degree Domestic Violence alleges this assault occurred May 7th at a Sullivan Street address. It states Gary grabbed the victim by the neck while threatening her with physical harm and that he continued to assault her, with injuries and causing her to fear for her life. The Laurens assault allegedly occurred in the presence of the victim’s minor child. It also gives the Bridgeman Park address as the subject’s residence.

Bond was denied on the 1st Degree and one of the 2nd Degree Domestic Violence charges. A $55,000 bond was set on the other 2nd Degree charge.
