Yesterday we reported the Monday arrest of 41-year-old Stephen Ezekial Sutherland of Pickens Street, Joanna, noting he’s charged with Conspiring with Emily Gregory November 7th thru 9th to distribute oxycodone. He was released yesterday on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
The Sheriff’s Office yesterday arrested 59-year-old Emily Jones Gregory of 805 Milton Road, Joanna and charged her with Filing a False Police Report and Conspiring to Distribute. She’s accused of filing a false police report November 9th, stating that Stephen Sutherland stole $280 and 80 Oxycodone pills from her, when she actually gave them to him to sell for profit. She is accused of conspiring with Sutherland to distribute oxycodone.
Bonds set on her two charges totaled $10,000. Emily Jones Gregory remained in the Laurens County Detention Center overnight.
