1st, 2nd & 3rd Offense, Manufacturing Meth

Three people from Clinton and Joanna were arrested last evening on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has charged each with being in constructive possession yesterday of items that had been used to manufacture methamphetamine. They were also accused of disposing, or assisting in disposing of meth waste.

48-year-old Tommy Wayne McWatters of 405 Francis Street, Clinton was charged with 3rd or Subsequent Offense of Drug Manufacture, reportedly having prior multiple convictions of drug related offenses. He was also charged with Unlawful Disposal of Meth, Possession of Meth, Simple Possession of Marijuana and attempt to Acquire Unlawful Substance.

Tommy Wayne McWatters was also served with a Violation of Probation warrant from South Carolina Pardon, Probation and Parole. He’s accused of failing to report since a September 21st, 2016 release from a partial revocation, of failing to work diligently at a lawful occupation and failing to follow advice and instructions of his probation agent.

Arrested on charges of 2nd Offense Drug Manufacture and Unlawful Disposal of Meth waste was 26-year-old Jordon Devore Bodie of 111-A South Ellis Street, Joanna. Charged with a 1st offense Drug Manufacture warrant and with Unlawful Disposal of Meth Waste was Mandy Jolene Evans of 111 McWatters Street, Clinton.

Tommy Wayne McWatters was being held overnight, pending arraignment on his six charges. Jordon Devore Bodie and Mandy Jolene Evans were being held overnight, pending bond hearing on their two charges.
