Clinton Council Meets at 6:00

Clinton City Council meets for its regular December City Council meeting at 6:00 this evening in Council Chambers. Council is to consider items related to a comprehensive financial report on the fiscal year that ended June 30th, 2017. City Council is also to consider 2nd reading approval of annexation and zoning for properties being brought into the city limits. This will include property owned by District 56 Schools that includes parts of the Clinton High School campus, and other property directly adjacent. It also includes a lot on Highway 72 at East Corporate Drive, off I-26, where a new franchise restaurant is to be constructed.

Clinton City Council also has an executive session on this evening’s agenda to discuss a personnel matter regarding to the office of City Manager. There are also two called meetings for this week, set for 9:00 am tomorrow and Friday. At both meetings, Clinton City Council is to enter an Executive Session regarding a personnel matter related to the Office of City Manager.
