Drug Charge from Seeking Shooting Suspect

While looking for a man wanted for Attempted Murder, Laurens County Deputies yesterday report they found an active meth lab.

Around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon Deputies had responded to Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville where a young man was being treated for a gunshot to his abdomen. He had provided hospital security with the shooting location and the name of a man who allegedly shot him. Deputies responded to the reported shooting location on Cowens Bridge Road, Gray Court and found several individuals at the location. The shooting suspect, 37-year-old Andrew Christopher Eaton, reportedly fled the scene, running into a wooded area behind the residence. Deputies combed the area for several hours but were unable to locate Eaton.

Deputies returned to that residence yesterday in their ongoing attempt to locate Mr. Eaton. He was not present, but Deputies say they discovered an active Meth Lab inside. 34-year-old Timothy Allen Morrow Jr. of the address, 2945 Cowens Bridge Road, Gray Court, was arrested and has been charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Unlawful Disposal of Meth Waste and with three counts of Unlawful Child Neglect.

Investigator Robert Wilkie states that Mr. Morrow had items in his possession at his residence yesterday that are used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, and that he unlawfully disposed of meth waste. Morrow is further accused of placing three children he is a custodial parent of at unreasonable risk of harm by manufacturing meth in the home where they live. Timothy Allen Morrow Jr. was being held overnight, awaiting a bond hearing today.
