Burglary & 2nd Degree Domestic Assault

A man was arrested Saturday in connection with an alleged burglary and assault last Monday. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office charged 26-year-old Tevin O’Neal Hill of 135 Dragon Trail, Laurens with 2nd Degree Burglary and Domestic Violence 2nd Degree.

Deputy Jonathan Brown stats that on February 5th Mr. Hill entered a dwelling on Chapman Road, Fountain Inn without consent and with intent to commit a crime therein. He then allegedly choked the victim about her neck, pressing his knee to her neck. This reportedly caused multiple bruising to the victim’s neck and head. The officer further states that the victim and subject’s 2-year-old child was present during the altercation.

Cash or surety bonds were set totaling $70,000 on the two charges. Tevin O’Neil Hill remained in custody this morning.
