Clinton Pubic Safety made an arrest yesterday alleging stalking of a Clinton area woman. 26-year-old Charles Ricky Wilson of 2733 Collingswood Drive, Newberry was charged with Stalking the victim between February 16th and Saturday, March 10th. A warrant alleges that in that time frame he called the victim 39 times with no legitimate reason, after being informed by the victim to stop calling her. He also allegedly told her in a phone call “I’m going to get you back one way or another, if I have to kill you and everybody in Lydia Mill.” He is also accused of going by the victim’s residence on three occasions, causing her to fear for her safety.
Charles Ricky Wilson was being held in the Laurens County Detention Center, pending a bond hearing.
