  • Softball: Chapman 6 – Clinton 3…The Clinton Red Devil softball team opened their region schedule last night as they traveled to Chapman to take on the Panthers… The Red Devils had trouble with their offense as they had only 2 hits on the night and fell by a score of 6-3… Chapman scored 1 run in the first and the Red Devils finally got on the board in the fifth inning scoring two runs but the Panthers responded scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the inning… They added 2 more in the sixth but the Red Devils did not go away quietly as they plated 1 run in the top of the seventh but could get no closer… Hunter Benson had one of the Red Devils hits an RBI single… For the game’s box score and some stats, click on the following: CHS-SB-3-13-18-Chapman… For the games scorecard, click on the following: CHS-SB-3-13-18-Chapman-SC… The Red Devils are now 2-3 overall and 0-1 in region play… They will host Brashier Middle College today at 5:30.
