Pros …Click on the scores of the following for more information about the contest.

  • Braves 4 – Cubs 1… The Braves put 3 runs in the 8th inning to break a 1-1 tie as they defeated the Cubs in Atlanta last night…. In the pivotal 8th inning Ozzie Albies tripled with one out and then was driven in on a single by Ronald Acuna Jr… Freddie Freeman then singled moving Acuna to third and he took second on the throw… Carl Edwards drew an intentional walk to load the bases… A pair of walks brought in two more runs to make the final 4-1.
  • Greenville Drive… The Drive had the night off last night and will return home to Flour Field this afternoon at 3:30 to start a 4-game series with the Augusta GreenJackets… The Drive are 10-28  on the season and are in last place in SAL Southern Division 13.5 games behind the Augusta GreenJackets who lead the division… By the way the reason the game is starting at 3:30 is that there will be a BMW Charity Pro-Am Celebrity Softball Game starting about 7:30 after the Drive game.
