Pros …Click on the scores of the following for more information about the contest.

  • Braves 5 – Yankees 3 (11)… The Braves started a 3-game series with the Yankees in New York last night with a bang… The bang came for the bat of Ronald Acuna Jr. who had a fly ball barley get over the fence in right-centerfield in the 11th inning for a 2-run homer that lifted the Braves to a 5-3 win over the Yankees… Johan Camargo also homered for the Braves in the 3rd inning a solo shot…
  • 2018 MLB All-Star Game… The MLB All-Star Game will be held on Tuesday, July 17th and it will be at Nationals Park in Washington, DC and you will be able to watch it on FOX… Now some of you die-hard baseball fans out there may be interested in voting on the players you would like to see in the game… If so click here to go to the MLB website where you can vote…. • Charleston 6 – Drive 2… The Greenville Drive and the Charleston RiverDogs played game 3 of their 4-game series at Flor Field last night and just like the previous two games the Drive came up on the short end of the score as the RiverDogs took a 6-2 win. They outhit the Drive 8-5 and led 5-0 before the Drive finally got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 7th inning…. The teams will finish their series tonight and I believe I can promise firework if not in the game then after the game as the Drive hit the road tomorrow starting a series down in Columbia with the Fireflies. .

Freedom Festival Tonight… Speaking of fireworks, there will be some tonight at the Laurens Riverfront Freedom Festival… The event kicks off at 6:30 at the Laurens Amphitheater where the finalist in Laurens Sings will take the stage for one last time and after they sing the will announce the winner of Laurens Sings… When that is done Outshyne will take the stage for a show… Then about 9:15 fireworks will light the sky… make plans to bring your chair and come on out.
