Camden Couple Arrested in Laurens

A Camden Couple were charged yesterday following their arrest in Laurens Wednesday.

Laurens City Police charged 48-year-old Robin Regina Lake of 574 Peachtree Rock Road, Camden with 5th Offense Driving under Suspension, with Habitual Traffic Offender and with Improper Vehicle License.

Warrants citing the investigation of Officer Napier state that on Spring Street Wednesday Mrs. Lake was operating a motor vehicle on state roadways July 11th while her privileges to drive were revoked, and that history shows this is the 5th offense. She is further accused of operating a 2001 Hyundai Sante Fe while displaying a license plate for a 1993 Nissan Quest. Robin Regina Lake remained in custody earlier today with bonds totaling $12,357.

50-year-old Egar Rita Lake of 629 Timber Creek Road, Camden was charged with “Party to a Crime.” He is accused of allowing his wife to operate a motor vehicle on South Carolina roadways, knowing her driving privileges were revoked. He was held with a $1,000 bond.
