More Investment by Samsung

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. yesterday announced plans to open a customer care center in Greenville County. At just under 35,000 square feet, the new center to be built on Holland Drive, Simpsonville is expected to bring 400 new jobs to the Upstate by 2020.

WYFF reports that a release from the Greenville Area Development Corporation indicates the new facility is part of Samsung’s efforts to deliver exceptional customer care at more touchpoints throughout the United States.

This facility is in addition to Samsung’s current Simpsonville product support center that employs more than 600 people and its $380 million home appliance manufacturing plant in Newberry.

Hiring for the new Simpsonville facility is already underway.
