Trafficking in Meth in Laurens

Two Anderson County residents were charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine with over 40 grams of meth yesterday. Laurens City Police arrested 37-year-old Cindy Renea Alley of 1109 East Front Street, Iva and 35-year-old Thomas Henry Lusk II of 108 Pepper Drive, Belton a few minutes after midnight yesterday morning. In warrants citing investigation of Officer Napier, both are accused of being in possession of 41.10 grams of methamphetamines, which were packaged separately. This was reportedly discovered during a lawful traffic stop on Reames Drive in Laurens July 12th. Cindy Alley and Thomas Lusk were also served with two warrants alleging they were also found in possession of two other controlled substances.

Bond was denied for both yesterday on the Meth Trafficking charges. Cash or surety bonds were set totaling $10,000 for Alley and Lusk on their two Possession of Controlled Substances charges.

Officer Napier served Ms. Alley with a ticket charging her with Driving under Suspension at 19 minutes after midnight Thursday morning on Greenwood Road. A $647 Personal Recognizance bond was set on that charge. Mr. Lusk was charged with having a Broken Seal on a bottle of liquor being transported early yesterday. He received a $262 PR bond on that charge.

Cindy Renea Alley and Thomas Henry Lusk II remained in the Laurens County Detention Center this morning.
