State Probation, Parole and Pardon agents have charged a Cross Hill resident with Violation of Probation. 38-year-old Wesley Scott Cryer of 287 Blackgate Circle, Cross Hill was arrested last Thursday. A warrant was served Friday, citing that he has failed to follow the instructions of his agent. These failures allegedly include moving without authorization, thereby absconding supervision. He’s also accused of failing to refrain from use of substances, such as texting positive for Meth on March 18th of 2014. He’s also accused of failing to attend and complete substance abuse counseling.
With a cash or surety bond set at $75,000 for the Violation of Probation warrant, Wesley Scott Cryer remained in the Laurens County Detention Center this morning.
