Accessing All the New Industrial Park

Improvements for the new Clinton 26 Commerce Park were approved this week. Clinton City Council Monday evening unanimously approved a bid to extend Technology Way, the entrance into the Clinton 26 Commerce Park. This extension would provide access to all property within the park and will continue to meet the requirements of a Class A industrial park by providing curbs, gutters, lighting, landscaping and water lines. The proposed $583,427 extension would be paid for by funds received from the sale of land that General Electric purchased for their Alternative Energy facility. A grant from Santee Cooper was also involved.

Clinton 26 Commerce Park is inside the City Limits, along Highway 72 just east of Interstate 26.
