Pros … For more information on these games, click on their scores.

  • Braves 8 – Nationals 3In game 3 of their 4-game series up in Washington last night, the Braves took an 8-3 win over the Nationals… The Braves scored most of their runs in two innings as they plated 3 runs in the second inning and 4 in the fourth in route to the win… Homers were a big part of the reason for the Braves win as Charlie Culbertson had a 3-run homer in the second while both Tyler Flowers and Ronald Acuna Jr. both had 2-run homers in the fourth inning… Flowers and Acuna’s homers were deep shots over 4545 feet long… Acuna also went to the wall in the bottom of the fourth inning and timed his leap perfectly to rob the Nationals’ Matt Adams of a homer… The two teams will end their series with an afternoon game today at 1:05 pm
  • Drive 7 – Fireflies 1There is also good news for Greenville Drive fans as they took a 7-1 win over the Columbia Fireflies down in the state capital last night… The Drive did it by outhitting the Fireflies 12-6 and two of the Drive’s 12 hits were homers…. The two teams will finish their 3-game series tonight in Columbia with the series tied 1-1.
  • Panthers… The Carolina Panthers will play their first pre-season game tonight as they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills in a 7:00 pm contest that I believe can be seen on WYFF TV Channel 4 out of Greenville… They will not be practicing at Wofford again until Saturday (8-11) when they start practice at 3:10 pm
