Two New Developments at Laurens County Museum

There are two new developments underway for the Laurens County Museum, now being developed in the Witherspoon Building on the Laurens Square.

Robby Bell of the Museum Board said that work began this week on a Caterer’s Kitchen on the 2nd floor of the new museum location. The kitchen will be for providing food for groups using the Magnolia Room, also upstairs in the Museum.

The Museum is also looking to bring a new business to the Laurens Square in the former Laurens Furniture building. The Museum Association acquired the building for future development. Bell said An antique company from Tryon, NC is to open a business in the Main Street, Laurens facility, possibly before the end of the year.
