  • Tennis: Clinton 4 – Mid-Carolina 2… Catching up with the Lady Red Devil tennis team last Thursday they hosted the Mid-Carolina Rebels hoping to avenge a loss to the Rebels earlier in the season… Well that is just what they did as Clinton took a 4-2 over the rebels… Gerri Hill, Gracie Spangler, Kaitey Threatt and Reese Gowan accounted for the 4 Red Devil wins in singles action… With the win, the Red Devils finish 2nd in Region III-AAA… The team will be back in action tomorrow as they host a first round playoff match with Chesnee at 5:00 pm on the courts on the campus of CMS.
  • JV Football Update… Last Friday I told you that the Red Devil JV football team had taken a 28-6 win over Emerald in Greenwood on Thursday night but I did not have any scoring details… Well I can now tell you that Danny Kinard, Kaleb Richardson and Davis Wilson all had a rushing TD in the game… Zek Johnson also scored a TD on a pass reception from Davis Wilson an also caught a 2-point conversion … Kinard also added a 2-point conversion on the ground… Afterwards Coach Glenn said “Our kids played hard and gave great effort tonight… We were able to execute and make plays when we needed them made… I’m extremely proud of the way they were able to bounce back after a tough loss Monday night, they came out hungry for a win”.
