Jars of Coins in the Dryer

Laurens City Police were summoned to Hampton Street Wednesday morning on a report of a Burglary. The resident said he had hidden two jars of coins in a dryer, which was not working. He said that after returning to his residence after being away for a few days, he found the coins were not inside the dryer anymore. Value of the stolen coins was estimated at $75. The man indicated that this was all he noticed was missing. A police report noted that officers found no signs of forced entry, but that the man indicated he was not able to lock his front door because he lost the key.
