Improper Use of Pesticide

Improper pest control treatment at a residence west of Laurens was alleged with a booking yesterday at the Johnson Detention Center. Three warrants from an investigator with Clemson University’s Department of Pest Control charged a 71-year-old Taylors man with Pesticide Control Act violations. They state that on September 11th of 2018 he applied Termidor ® in a manner inconsistent with the labeling or with the Federal Environmental Protection Agency for that pesticide at the residence on Highway 76 West. After being served the warrants, the man was released on three $500 personal recognizance bonds.
