Two Females Arrested Following Search

Two females were arrested yesterday following execution of a search warrant at a residence east of Princeton in Western Laurens County.

39-year-old Amber Darlene Peak of 210 Horse Creek Road, Honea Path was charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine and Simple Possession of Marijuana. Investigator Matt Veal states that on February 7th Ms. Peak was in possession of approximately three grams of methamphetamine, and less than an ounce of Marijuana. She was also served a Bench Warrant citing her with Failure to Appear in General Session Court to face a charge of Possession or Disposal of a Stolen Vehicle.

Also arrested yesterday was 17-year-old Alyssa Deanna Tims, also of 210 Horse Creek Road. She’s charged with Obstructing Justice and Resisting Arrest. Investigator Matt Veal states that Ms. Tims committed Obstruction of Justice by interfering with Law Enforcement while they were executing a search warrant at 210 Horse Creek Drive and that she resisted a lawful arrest, pulling away from deputies in an aggressive manner at that location.

Both Ms. Peak and Ms. Tims remained in the Johnson Detention Center overnight, awaiting bond hearings.
