College Notes:

AP Poll Rankings… It has been a while since we took a look at the AP Polls for men and women’s D-I basketball so let’s take care of that now.

  • Men… The lasts poll for the men came out this past Sunday and there was some shakeup after last week’s #1 Tennessee lost to Kentucky… Each team just below Tennessee moved up a notch which means that Duke is now #1 with the next four being Gonzaga, Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee dropped to #5… Spots 6-10 are occupied by Nevada, Michigan, North Carolina, Houston and Michigan State… If you would like to see the entire top 25 in the poll, click here.
  • Women… The latest women’s AP Poll also came out last Sunday and it also had some shakeup in the poll as Miami upset previously #2 Louisville…The top 5 in order are now Baylor, Oregon, UConn, Louisville and Notre Dame… Look for that to change some next week as Oregon State has already upset #2 Oregon since the poll came out… Spots 6-10 are occupied by Mississippi State, Stanford, Maryland, NC State and Iowa… South Carolina checks in this week at #13 down from #11 last week… A loss will do that you know… If you would like to see the entire top 25 of the women’s poll, click here.
