Eleven Enter Pleas

While Judge Don Hocker conducted a jury trial was underway in one courtroom in Laurens County General Sessions Court yesterday, eleven people were entering guilty pleas before Judge Frank Addy Jr.in another courtroom.

50-year-old Robert Lee Wayne Moser of 317 Tall Pines Road, Fountain Inn pled to 3rd Degree Burglary, 1st offense, and was sentenced to three years, to be served concurrently with any Greenville County Probation Violation sentence. He’s also sentenced to an addiction treatment unit. Moser was given credit for 284 days in jail.

A guilty plea to a Cruelty to Children charge was entered yesterday by 47-year-old Brenda Gail Gregory of 200 Hardin Road, Laurens. She was sentenced to four days, time already served behind bars.

31-year-old Candace Lashonn Pinson of 128 Marion Street, Laurens plead to Failure to Stop for Blue Light. She was sentenced to 8 months, suspended to one day, time served and one year probation. She’s also to be on two litter crew pickups. Probation can be terminated on completing public service.

Enhanced Shoplifting was the charge 47-year-old Angela Lorraine Barr of 657 Sullivan Street, Laurens pled to. She was sentenced to five years, but that was suspended to 87 days already jailed and three years on probation.

Another person pled to another Failure to Stop for a Blue Light case and another on a Shoplifting charge. Others pled to charges including

Financial Transaction Card Fraud, Possession of Cocaine with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Less than One Gram of Meth, Driving under the Influence and Breach of Peace.
