Stolen Car, Failing to Stop for Cops Monday

Possession of a stolen car was one of the charges the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office served yesterday on a man they arrested Monday. 42-year-old Terry Glenn Woodward of 655 Peanut Road, Woodruff is charged with two counts of Receiving Stolen Goods along with being a Habitual Offender for Driving under Suspension and 2nd or Subsequent Offense of Failure to Stop for Blue Lights.

In warrants, Sheriff’s Investigator Matthew Veal states that on Monday, June 10th Mr. Woodward was found to be a habitual offender for operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so and he’s also charged with failing to stop when signaled to do so by law enforcement. Veal also states that Terry Glenn Woodward was in possession of a stolen 2008 Buick Lacross valued at approximately $4,000 Monday, and of a South Carolina vehicle license plate stolen from another victim.

With cash or surety bonds set totaling $40,000 on the four charges, Terry Glenn Woodward remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
