County Building and Grounds Update

A report from Laurens County’s Building and Grounds department was presented last evening as part of a series of departmental reports instituted by County Administrator Jon Caime.

Buildings and Grounds Supervisor Alan Robertson gave a brief overview of his department and current challenges for building maintenance. His report including a review of building assets maintained, an organizational chart and an update on the ongoing roof-top HVAC project at the county’s Hillcrest Judicial and Services complex.

Mr. Robertson’s report showed that there are now 43 buildings having work orders completed. It notes that in 2018, there were over 700.
