The Laurens County Chamber of Commerce presented its Ambassador and Small Business of the 2nd Quarter Awards this week.
Jammie King of TD Bank, Clinton was named the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the 2nd Quarter. As a first-year Ambassador, Jammie quickly committed to Chamber involvement and member support. She has volunteered at and attended ribbon cuttings, business after hours, and many other chamber events. Jammie was selected by her fellow Ambassadors for this honor for continuing to contribute in many ways to the community.
Joe Kirby’s State Farm Insurance office of Laurens’ West Main Street was named the Chamber’s Small Business of the 2nd Quarter for 2019. Joe recently announced his retirement, after serving Laurens in the insurance business since January of 1973. Joe has been a dedicated Chamber member since 1975, leading the way for entrepreneurs, community development and success. His hard work and dedication as a small business owner in Laurens will continue to positively impact the County.
