  • Braves 4 – Reds 1Last night the Braves and the Cincinnati Reds started a 4-game series in Atlanta with the Braves taking a rain-shortened 4-1 win… The game made it through the sixth inning before Mother Nature stepped in and rain forced a halt to the game… After a one hour and forty five minute delay the game was called giving the Braves the win…. Freddie Freeman hit his 26th homer of the season in the first inning a three-run shot that eventually proved to be all the Braves needed…. The Reds got their run in the second and the Braves closed out the scoring in the bottom of the sixth inning when Adam Duvall had a solo homer (5)… Max Fried picked up the complete game win giving up the 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 4 and walking none.
