  • Raiders 28- Red Devils 0… In the battle for the Laurens County Championship last night the Raiders took a 28-0 win over the Red Devils spoiling Coach Corey Fountain debut as the head coach of the Red Devils … The Raiders fumbled the ball the first two times they had it but Red Devils could not convert them into points and the first period ended scoreless… However early in the second quarter the Red Devils made their only fumble of the game and the Raiders did convert that into points as Ryan Campbell scored on the first play on and 8 yard run with Jesus Esparaza adding the PAT… Campbell later scored again in the quarter on a 5 yard run capping a 78 yard drive and also connected with Dee Foster on a 28 yard scoring strike just before the first half ended to make the score 21-0 at the half… The Raiders added another score in the third quarter on a 1 yard run by Jerimiah Fuller with Esparaza again adding the PAT to make it 28-0… The game was delayed about 25 minutes with 11:05 left as the lights went out for a few seconds and once the power came back on it took a while for the field lights to cool down and restart… Even after the lights came back on the Red Devils continued to battle and never gave up… As expected, the Raiders dominated the game statistics and if you would like to see them, click here
