Fly-In Sunday Morning at Laurens County Airport

Air traffic over Laurens County is to be busier than usual this Sunday as the Laurens County Airport hosts the South Carolina Breakfast Club. This is an event where, every two weeks, pilots and aviation enthusiast gather for breakfast and to catch up on aviation news.

Except for a couple years during World war II, the SC Breakfast Club has met every two weeks, weather permitting, at a host airport. Laurens County usually hosts the event about this time every year.

Planes will be arriving from 8:30 to 9:00 Sunday morning. Non-flying guests are also welcomed. Boy Scout Troop 339 will be serving breakfast at  $8 for adults and $5 for youth under 12, as a fund-raiser.

Planes usually depart by noon.
