Man Sentenced to Twenty Years on Drug Charge

An Abbeville man will spend the next 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a methamphetamine-related charge. 8th Circuit Solicitor David M. Stumbo said 39-year-old Todd Andrew Allen pleaded guilty Wednesday morning to a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines. A Jury had been selected to try him on charges.

Circuit Judge Don Hocker sentenced Mr. Allen to 20 years in prison. The solicitor noted Allen has an extensive criminal history including numerous drug-related convictions.
