  • Camden 43 – Clinton 14… The Clinton Red Devils boarded the bus and traveled to Camden last Friday to take on the 9-1 Bulldogs… When the final horn sounded the Bulldogs had eliminated the Red Devils from the playoffs and improved their record to 10-1 by taking a 43-14 win over Clinton… The Bulldogs scored 6 of the first 7 times they had the ball and the one time they did not score it was because Justin Copeland intercepted a pass to give the Red Devils the ball… Camden lead 37-0 before the Clinton got on the board with 1:58 left in the third quarter on a 6 yard run by Greg Sanders that capped a 15 play 75 yard drive that took 7:15 seconds off the clock… The PAT failed so the score stood 37-6… The Bulldogs responded scoring again themselves with 28 seconds left but Justin Copeland blocked the PAT so the score stood 43-6… The Red Devils did not quit as they scored again in the fourth quarter on an 11 yard run by Shy Kinard who also added the 2-point conversion to make it 43-14 which was the final score as the Red Devils kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard the rest of the game and got to the Camden 10 yard line before turning the ball over on downs with 1:32 left in the game as Camden then ran out the clock.
