Probation Violation Alleges Drugs

A Wattsville community resident is in custody on charges from Pardon, Probation and Parole. Friday, 36-year-old Ronald Brett Williamson of Lucas Street Laurens was arrested and charged with Violation of Probation and with Possession of Methamphetamine. He’s accused of having possession of an amount of Meth on October 10th, 2019. The Violation of Probation warrant states he failed to follow the advice and instructions of his supervising agent. These reportedly including the agent having probable cause of believing Williamson was driving with his license suspended, of being in possession of two pills without authorization and of transporting an open bottle of liquor. He’s also alleged to have failed to refrain from the use of illegal drugs, alleging he failed a drug test last Wednesday, testing positive for methamphetamines.

With cash or surety bonds set totaling $52,000, Ronald Brett Williamson remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
