College Sports:

  • FCS Nation Championship Game… Well for those few sports fans who woke up from a comma this morning or were abducted by aliens yesterday, I’ll briefly mention that the LSU Tigers took a 42-25 win over the Clemson Tigers last night in the College Football Championship and that is why some of you Clemson friends are not as bright and chipper as they usually are… I also hated to see the final score as I was hoping the South Carolina Tigers would come out on top making it trophies in a row… LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow had a better game overall than Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence… He went 31/49 for 463 yards and 5 TDs against Clemson’s defense while Lawrence went 18-37 for 234 yards and no TDs… He just didn’t seem as sharp as he usually does and that may be in part because the LSU defense played better than most people expected and Clemson’s defense was less effective than usual… The question now is can the Clemson Tigers start the streak over and make it back to the “Big game” again next year? For those of you who did come out of the coma or just got back from your abduction, click here to go to the NCA website where you can see much more information (probably more than you want) about this game.
