Pro Sports

  • Harvick Wins Real Heroes 400Well NASCAR became the first pro sport to restart its schedule yesterday with the running of the Real Heroes 400 down at Darlington… Kevin Harvick didn’t start on the pole but its not where you start that counts its where you finish and he finished first a little over 2 seconds ahead of Alex Bowman… It was Harvick’s 50th career win tying him with NASCAR Hall of Famers Junior Johnson and Ned Jarrett on the NASCAR Cup Series all-time wins list…. Darlington is called “ the track too tough to tame” and it appeared at the beginning that it might prove to be true yesterday as Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wrecked at the start but after that only Jimmy Johnson was knocked out due to an accident … To see the complete order of finish in the race click here

  • More Darlington this Week… Now NASCAR continues to use the Darlington track this week as they have an Xfinity race there tomorrow at 7:30 pm and another Cup Series race on Wednesday at 7:30… Of course all of these are “no fans in the stands” races… To see the entire NASCAR TV schedule for this week click here.
  • Kenseth and Newman Make Comebacks… Yesterday’s race saw the comeback of two drivers after being out of action for different length of times… Ryan Newman who survived the horrific crash in the Daytona 500 at the start of this race season saw action for the first time and finished 16th in yesterday’s race… Matt Kenseth was behind the wheel for the first time since he retired at the end of the 2018 season… Kenseth finished 10th in the race… He was picked by the Chip Ganassi Racing team to take over the #42 car back in April after previous driver Kyle Larson was release for using a racial slur during an iRacing event… For more on this click here…. Especially good to see Newman back after that crash back in February!
