Six Face Ecstasy Charge – One has 2 More Drug Warrants

Four men and two women have been charged with possession of ecstasy in Laurens County on Tuesday of this week. As of yesterday, all were served warrants charging each of them with Possession of a Narcotic in Schedule I and II. Warrants allege they were in constructive possession of MDMA on Tuesday.

One of the six, 48-year-old Howard Stafford “Jamie” Gedeist of Central Avenue, Whitmire was charged with a third or subsequent offense of the drug possession. Charged with 1st Offense for the alleged possession of Ecstasy on Tuesday were 32-year-old Amanda Nicole Roman of Douglas Street, Laurens and 35-year-old Christa Faith Sutton of Hood Creek Road, Laurens. Also facing the Narcotics charge were 51-year-old Jay Earl Campbell of Windy Lane, Simpsonville and 34-year-old Jeremy Kyle Ellison of Tillman Circle, Joanna.

The sixth person charged with possession of MDMA – Ecstasy – on Tuesday was 29-year-old Robert Dale “Dough Boy” Knight of Warrior Creek Church Road, Gray Court. Mr. Knight was also served with two warrants from alleged unlawful drug violations eight days earlier. Knight is charged with Criminal Conspiracy and Distribution of Methamphetamine. He is accused of planning or scheming to accomplish the crime of distribution of methamphetamine and of having an amount of methamphetamine in his possession on Monday, May 11th that constitutes intent to distribute.

Robert Dale Knight, Jeremy Kyle Ellison, Jay Earl Campbell, Christa Faith Sutton, Amanda Nicole Roman and Howard Stafford “Jamie” Gedeist remained in Laurens County’s Johnson Detention Center this morning, awaiting bond hearings.
