District 55 Trustees Adjust for the Pandemic

The Laurens County District 55 School Board this week unanimously approved resolutions to deal with changes due to the Pandemic. The board unanimously approved a resolution to continue with this year’s budget into the new school year, starting July 1st, until the new budget is finalized in Columbia.

The District 55 Trustees also unanimously approved a resolution to comply with all state and federal mandates issued regarding the COVID-19 situation, even if they conflict with board mandates.

In a non-COVID-19 matter, The District 55 School Board approved a schedule for its board meetings in the 2020-2021 school year. All meetings are set to be held in the District 55 Administrative Offices on Hillcrest Drive.
